About the role:

We are seeking a senior operations leader with significant Operations and Middle Office experience to fill a director level role leading Derivatives Margin Operations to lead a margin operations team for cleared derivatives activity across a global operating model. The candidate will provide senior leadership for not only a regional Margin function and play a global central role in strengthening control, change delivery, governance, and onboarding new clients.

This is a senior leadership opportunity for a derivatives operations professional who can operate in a complex, client-focused environment, influence regional and global stakeholders, and drive consistent standards across APAC, EMEA, and the US. The successful candidate will help lead a function that supports significant daily margin volumes, a fast-paced change environment and delivers critical services for clients and the business including audit support and change delivery.

What you will be doing:

• Lead a regional derivatives Margin Team for Derivatives, providing direction, coaching, governance, and senior operational oversight.
• Own and enhance Global Margin Control standards, promoting consistency across APAC, EMEA, and the US.
• Drive a globally consistent change agenda for the margin function, partnering with change teams, clients, and regional operations teams.
• Support new product rollouts, client-driven change, and operational efficiency initiatives across the margin operating model.
• Strengthen governance, controls, and issue management practices to reduce operational risk and improve service resilience.
• Improve OTC derivatives accounting processes to increase efficiency and reduce the risk of material P&L or balance sheet errors.
• Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders across operations, change, client service, and business leadership.

What you bring:

• Extensive experience in derivatives operations, margin, collateral, clearing, or a closely related financial services discipline.
• Strong understanding of cleared derivatives, OTC derivatives processes, margin services, and related operational control environments.
• Proven success leading complex operational teams or functions within a global financial services organization.
• Demonstrated ability to improve controls, governance, processes, and operational outcomes in high-volume, high-risk environments.
• Experience working across regions and building consistent global operating standards.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders, clients, change partners, and cross-functional teams.
• Strong people leadership skills, including team development, prioritization, performance management, and organizational effectiveness.
• Commercial awareness, sound judgment, and the ability to balance client needs, risk management, and operational delivery.
• A sharp risk focused approach to evaluating group processes.
