The role oversees end-to-end category performance, including assortment strategy, pricing and promotions, product innovation, and cross-functional execution to ensure the right products are delivered to the right customer at the right time.
Major Activities
Merchandising & Growth Strategy
- Develop and execute category strategies that drive sales, margin, traffic, and customer engagement.
- Lead assortment planning, product selection, and promotional strategies using analytics, consumer insights, and market trends.
- Build long-range growth plans and identify opportunities to accelerate category performance and innovation.
- Own pricing and promotional calendars to maximize value perception and ROI.
Design & Product Innovation
- Establish the creative vision for the Design team, ensuring trend-right, commercially viable assortments.
- Lead innovation in products, services, and experiences that delight customers and create competitive advantage.
- Guide development of new capabilities and offerings that expand Artistree’s growth opportunities.
Cross-Functional Leadership
- Partner with Sourcing, Inventory, Operations, Marketing, Finance, E-commerce, and IT to ensure flawless execution from concept to customer.
- Drive seamless omnichannel experiences and support system enhancements that simplify operations and improve the customer journey.
- Build strong supplier partnerships that foster innovation, quality, and long-term value creation.
Team Leadership
- Build and develop high-performing teams through coaching, talent development, and succession planning.
- Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, collaboration, and customer obsession.
- Inspire teams to think strategically, execute with excellence, and continuously challenge the status quo.

Preferred Education/Experience
- Bachelor’s degree
Minimum Type of Experience Required
- 10+ years of experience with a major retailer, brand or product development/sourcing company.
- Strategic Leadership
- Product Development, Owned Brand and/or Merchandising experience
