Summary:
The Department of Health Studies is seeking a motivated undergraduate student to assist with front office communication, administrative duties, and event planning.
Essential Functions:
Elicit and organize communications content from faculty members.
Design engaging graphics for newsletters, events and social media content using Canva and other tools.
Manage and grow our Instagram presence through creative posts and stories.
Collaborate with the team to organize and manage department events.
Other administrative tasks using Microsoft 365 apps.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
Part-time.
6 hours per week.
Salary Range:
$18.40 per hour.
Required Education and Experience:
Student must have an active Federal Work Study (FWS) award.
This position requires strong oral, written and digital communication skills and the ability to multi-task and work independently.
Preferred Education and Experience:
Preference for students with majors and minors in the Health Studies Department. Prior experience working in an office setting is highly recommended.
