At Asda, we want you to find your everything. As a Food Brand Deputy Manager (Subway) at Asda Express, you'll be a visible, hands-on leader responsible for driving the success of our in-store Subway operation. Working closely with the Store Manager, you'll lead the food brand offer, ensuring exceptional food quality, customer service, compliance standards and commercial performance, while also supporting the wider store operation.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a strong background in food retail, quick service restaurants, hospitality, or food service who is passionate about developing teams and growing a successful food business.

About the Role

• Lead and develop the Subway operation, ensuring high standards of food quality, safety and customer service
• Support the Store Manager in delivering strong commercial and operational performance across the site
• Drive food sales, profitability and customer satisfaction
• Coach, train and develop colleagues to deliver brand standards consistently
• Ensure full compliance with food safety, hygiene and health & safety requirements
• Manage stock, ordering, waste control and product availability within the food operation
• Lead the store independently when required and support the wider Asda Express team
• Promote a positive, inclusive culture where colleagues can thrive and deliver great customer experiences

About You

• Experience within food retail, food service, quick service restaurants, hospitality or a branded food environment
• Strong understanding of food safety, hygiene and operational compliance standards
• Experience leading, coaching and developing teams
• Commercially aware with the ability to drive sales and operational performance
• Confident working in a fast-paced customer-facing environment
• Passionate about delivering excellent customer service and high food standards
• A positive and supportive leader who leads by example
