What would you do? • We are looking for a highly experienced Indirect Tax professional to lead end-to-end tax compliance, reporting, governance, stakeholder management, and transformation initiatives across multiple jurisdictions. The role will be responsible for driving operational excellence, ensuring regulatory compliance, managing client relationships, leading large teams, and supporting strategic tax and finance initiatives • prepares monthly quarterly calculation recording and reporting of tax transactions and effective tax rate reconciliation preparation of financial statements for Statutory Regulatory and Compliance requirement and for preparation of reconciliation and consolidation of accounts • The management of an enterprise s holdings, with the ultimate goal of managing the firm s liquidity and mitigating its operational, financial and reputational risk.
What are we looking for? • Primary skill - Front Middle and Back Office Treasury Management - P1 • Core Skills • • Strong expertise in Indirect Tax compliance, Sales & Use Tax, VAT GST, Customs & Excise, and tax reporting • • Deep understanding of tax accounting, reconciliations, tax provisions, and financial statement impact under GAAP IFRS • • Proven experience leading large teams and managing multiple end-to-end tax processes • • Strong client and stakeholder management capabilities • • Experience managing tax audits, assessments, notices, and tax authority interactions • • Expertise in risk identification, mitigation, • Preferred Skills • • Experience with Workday ERP • • Exposure to automation, process transformation, and digital tax solutions • • Experience managing global tax operations across multiple jurisdictions • • Experience in transition and knowledge transfer management • • Continuous Improvement Lean Six Sigma exposure • • Willingness to work in night shifts
Roles and Responsibilities: • 1. Tax Operations Leadership • • Own end-to-end delivery of Indirect Tax compliance and reporting activities. • • Ensure timely and accurate preparation, review, and filing of tax returns, refund claims, statutory reports, and assessments. • • Drive adherence to all tax deadlines and compliance requirements. • • Review complex tax calculations and provide guidance on tax treatment and regulatory requirements. • • Oversee tax accounting activities, tax provisions, and reconciliation processes. • 2. Client and Stakeholder Management • • Serve as a primary escalation point for tax-related matters. • • Partner with clients, business stakeholders, finance teams, and external advisors. • • Drive governance discussions, operational reviews, and strategic planning sessions with client leadership. • • Present tax compliance status, risks, and key business updates to senior management. • • Build strong relationships with tax authorities, auditors, and regulatory bodies. • 3. Team Leadership and People Management • • Lead and develop a team of tax professionals, Team Leads, and Senior Analysts. • • Drive performance management, talent development, succession planning, and capability building. • • Ensure adequate cross-training and workforce planning. • • Foster a high-performance culture focused on quality, compliance, and continuous improvement. • • Coach teams on complex tax matters and client management. • 4. Audit, Risk and Controls Management • • Lead external and internal tax audits. • • Review and approve responses to tax authority notices and audit observations. • • Identify potential tax exposures and implement mitigation plans. • • Ensure strong control frameworks and compliance governance mechanisms. • • Drive closure of audit observations and control gaps • 5.
