We are looking for an experienced and commercially driven Senior Business & Operations Leader to help drive the next phase of growth for a fast-scaling, sustainability-focused D2C consumer brand.

The role requires a strong understanding of consumer businesses, D2C growth, commercial strategy, operations, and cross-functional execution. You will work closely with leadership to translate business objectives into scalable strategies, strengthen operating capabilities, and drive sustainable revenue and profitability growth.

The ideal candidate will bring a combination of strategic thinking, commercial acumen, operational discipline, and hands-on execution, with the ability to operate effectively in a high-growth consumer environment.

Requirements

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and execute business strategies to drive revenue growth, profitability, market expansion, and long-term business value.
• Work closely with leadership to define business priorities, growth plans, operating models, and strategic initiatives.
• Drive D2C growth across customer acquisition, retention, conversion, repeat purchases, and customer lifetime value.
• Analyse business, customer, financial, and operational metrics to identify growth opportunities and performance gaps.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives spanning marketing, ecommerce, product, supply chain, operations, finance, and customer experience.
• Establish scalable processes, systems, and operating rhythms to support rapid business growth.
• Monitor business performance against key commercial and operational objectives and drive corrective actions where required.
• Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, margins, customer experience, and overall business performance.
• Support product and category expansion based on customer insights, market trends, and commercial opportunities.
• Work with functional leaders to develop plans, allocate resources, and ensure timely execution of strategic initiatives.
• Build and strengthen dashboards, reporting mechanisms, and performance-management systems.
• Evaluate new channels, partnerships, markets, and business opportunities that can support growth.
• Develop strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders across the business ecosystem.
• Drive a culture of data-driven decision-making, accountability, experimentation, and continuous improvement.
• Mentor and develop high-performing teams while strengthening organisational capabilities and leadership depth.
• Represent the business in strategic discussions with partners, investors, vendors, and other key stakeholders.

WHAT MAKES YOU A GREAT FIT

• 10+ years of professional experience with significant exposure to business leadership, operations, strategy, growth, or commercial roles.
• Strong experience working with D2C, consumer brands, ecommerce, FMCG, retail, or other consumer-focused businesses.
• Proven understanding of D2C business models, digital commerce, customer acquisition, retention, and profitable growth.
• Strong commercial acumen with experience managing business performance, revenue, margins, and profitability.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and execute business and growth strategies in high-growth environments.
• Strong analytical capabilities with the ability to use data and business metrics to drive decisions.
• Experience working across multiple functions and leading complex cross-functional initiatives.
• Strong understanding of ecommerce, digital marketing, customer experience, supply chain, and consumer operations.
• Experience building scalable processes, operating systems, dashboards, and performance-management frameworks.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to move from strategic thinking to hands-on execution.
• Excellent leadership, communication, stakeholder-management, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work effectively with founders, senior leadership, functional heads, and external partners.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong sense of ownership, urgency, accountability, and execution.
• Experience building and mentoring teams in fast-paced, high-growth organisations.
• Genuine interest in sustainability, responsible consumption, consumer products, and environmentally conscious business models will be an advantage.
