Summary:
As a Data Platform Engineer, a typical day involves contributing to the development and refinement of the data platform blueprint and design, ensuring that all relevant components are effectively incorporated. This role requires close collaboration with Integration Architects and Data Architects to maintain seamless integration across various systems and data models. The position demands continuous engagement with multiple stakeholders to align platform capabilities with organizational needs, fostering a cohesive and efficient data environment that supports business objectives and technological advancements.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Expected to provide solutions to problems that apply across multiple teams.
- Lead the coordination of cross-functional efforts to ensure alignment of data platform initiatives with overall enterprise architecture.
- Mentor junior team members to support their professional growth and enhance team capabilities.
- Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to optimize data platform performance and scalability.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Databricks Unified Data Analytics Platform.
- Experience with distributed computing frameworks and big data processing techniques.
- Strong knowledge of cloud-based data storage and processing solutions.
- Familiarity with data integration and ETL processes within large-scale environments.
- Ability to design and implement scalable data pipelines and workflows.
- Understanding of data governance, security, and compliance best practices.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 12 years of experience in Databricks Unified Data Analytics Platform.
- This position is based at our HDC3C - SEZ location.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
