Dangerous Goods Auditor

Location: Eindhoven, the Netherlands

Do you have an eye for detail and a passion for safety and compliance? At UPS, we’re looking for a Dangerous Goods Auditor to ensure that all shipments of dangerous goods meet the highest standards of safety and regulatory compliance for both road and air transport. In this role, you’ll work independently and with precision, but also collaborate closely with our Sales teams and customers to prevent non-compliance. You’ll be a vital link in large logistical chain where speed, accuracy, and teamwork go hand in hand.

What you’ll do

As a Dangerous Goods Auditor, you’ll be responsible for auditing and monitoring dangerous goods shipments across our operations. Your focus will be on ensuring compliance with international regulations, UPS policies, and legal requirements for the transport of hazardous materials. You’ll coordinate with Sales teams, customers, and operational staff to resolve compliance issues before they occur.

In your daily work, you’ll:

• Audit DG shipments for compliance with road (ADR) and air (IATA) regulations.
• Identify and address potential compliance risks in cooperation with internal teams and customers.
• Act as a key contact for DG compliance questions and escalation points.
• Support investigations into non-compliance incidents and recommend corrective actions.
• Contribute to a culture of safety awareness and compliance throughout the operation.

• Part-time role of 30 hours per week.

What you’ll need

• Fluency in English (Dutch is a plus but not required).
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, data analysis) and proficiency with other Microsoft Office tools.
• A high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Flexibility to work evenings, core working hours are 15:00 – 23:00.
• A structured and compliance-driven mindset.
