Why you Should Join Us:
We are looking for a detail-oriented Cybersecurity Engineer with a strong technical foundation in system administration, IT infrastructure, or security engineering, seeking to develop further expertise across cybersecurity operations, infrastructure security, and Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC). The role combines hands-on technical security responsibilities with support for the organization’s cybersecurity governance and compliance program. The ideal profile understands enterprise Windows/Linux environments, networking, identity and access management, endpoint security, vulnerability management, and infrastructure hardening, while being able to translate technical findings into security controls, documentation, and remediation activities.
What You ‘ll Be Doing:
- Windows Server and/or Linux system administration.
- Active Directory, Entra ID and Identity & Access Management.
- Endpoint security, EDR/antimalware and system hardening.
- Network security (LAN), firewalls, VPNs, DNS and network segmentation.
- Vulnerability scanning, remediation and patch management.
- Microsoft 365 security and administration.
- Security configuration and baseline management.
- Backup, recovery and infrastructure resilience.
- Basic SIEM/SOC and security monitoring concepts.
- PowerShell, Bash, Python or other infrastructure automation.
- Virtualization and on-premises infrastructure.
- Security incident investigation and technical remediation.

Qualifications & Experience
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information technology or Computer science or related field.
- 2–5 years of professional IT experience, preferably beginning in System Administration, Network Administration, Cloud/Infrastructure Engineering, SOC operations or Security Engineering, with a clear progression toward cybersecurity.
- Relevant certifications such as Security+, CCNA, Microsoft Security certifications, Linux certifications, K8s certifications, ISO/IEC 27001 and ISO/IEC 27002.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office suites.
- In-depth knowledge of computer hardware.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex hardware and software issues.
- Professional working proficiency in English (written & verbal).
Desired:
- Knowledge of OS environment (Linux knowledge is a plus).
- Foundation/Internal Auditor or equivalent are advantageous.
