Customs and Supply Analyst

Position Spotlight

• Play a key role in inventory management, supply planning, demand analysis, and operational decision-making across a global supply chain.
• Support day-to-day inventory analysis, supply reporting, and assist with demand planning to ensure product availability and business continuity.
• Ideal for professionals with experience in supply chain, operations, logistics, inventory management, procurement, materials planning, or distribution environments.
• Candidates with customs experience highly preferred.
• In this role, you will be based in-person at our warehouse location in Centennial, CO.

About the Role

The Customs and Supply Analyst is responsible for supporting daily inventory analysis, supply reporting, import/export activities, and Item Master Data governance to ensure accurate, compliant, and efficient supply chain operations. This position serves as a key tactical support role for cross-functional teams by leveraging Microsoft 365 Copilot/AI and reporting tools to provide timely insights, improve operational visibility, and support data-driven decision-making. The role also contributes to continuous improvement initiatives, business projects, and collaboration with internal and external partners to maintain regulatory compliance, enable the smooth flow of goods, and support overall customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Import
  • Identify and resolve any import delays identified through business-critical reporting and communication received via Cochlear’s Salesforce Healthcloud CRM platform.
  • Support CAM Import/Export regulatory processes and customs clearance; coordinate with import and export counterparts to ensure the timely, compliant movement of products internationally.
  • Monitor, action, and resolve customs/import related cases received through Cochlear’s Salesforce Healthcloud CRM platform from internal and external partners.
  • Monitor new and changing customs requirements and ensure all required sourcing-related item updates are documented and maintained.
• Supply
  • Create and distribute inventory reports to the wider business; Identifying and outlying key items which will greatly impact operations.
  • Recognize abnormalities occurring within our inventory that require action and notify the appropriate teams to mitigate inventory risk.
  • Provide internal stakeholders with timely, relevant information on replenishment and demand planning (e.g., past-due order status and supply plans for constrained items) by proactively publishing updates.
  • Maintain open communication with the global supply chain and external suppliers on inventory-related topics, including forecast changes, launches, obsolescence plans, clinical study needs, and field requirements.

Key Requirements

• High school diploma
• 2–3 years of relevant work experience
• Highly detail-oriented
• Proficient computer skills (Microsoft Suite preferred)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to meet daily, weekly, and monthly deadlines, follow through on commitment, and show consistently between words and actions
• Demonstrates ability to positively interact with team and build strong, professional relationships
• Proficient with medical device importation
• Oracle ERP knowledge and experience, or other similar inventory management system• Reporting building utilizing business analytics software

• Pay Range in the United States: $25.50/hr - $27.50/hr based upon experience, as well as an annual bonus opportunity of 5% of base salary. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
