ATS is seeking an experienced Customer Support Engineer. This role is responsible for one or more production areas at our site in Taiwan. You will interface with cross functional teams in a fast-paced environment with plenty of challenging opportunities. You will be engaged with Production Test Engineers, Design Engineers, Production Associates, Management, and customers to ensure product and process compliance, continuously improve processes, and meet organizational goals. Your knowledge and experience will be valued and contribute to furthering the success of ATS Customer Support.

The Customer Support Team provides leadership for integration and execution of Product Support practices and processes.  The Customer Support Engineer is responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting equipment, as well as providing after-sales service that satisfies customers’ requirements.

Onsite: This position will work onsite at our site in Taiwan Zhubei office with regular business trip to Taiwan customers fab and potentially to Japan and USA.

Primary Responsibilities:

• On-site installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of equipment.
• Discuss issues with customers, diagnose equipment malfunctions, perform machine repairs, and provide satisfactory after-sales service.
• Be available for domestic and international business trips (U.S., Japan) for installation, technical support, training, and collaboration with service agent.
• At least 1 year of on-site repair experience.
• Understanding basic circuit diagrams.
• Must hold a valid driver’s license.
• Must be able to read original (English) manuals.
• Must be available on 24-hour phone call.
• Other tasks assigned by supervisors.

Basic Qualifications:

• Must have experience working in a cleanroom.
• Ability to read basic English manuals.
• Ability to read basic circuit diagrams.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in maintaining semiconductor field or display equipment is a plus.
