Sobre este puesto de Customer Coordinator en Switched On Group
We are looking for a Customer Coordinator to join our Christchurch team on a fixed-term basis covering parental leave until approximately February 2027.
Keeping maintenance work moving takes great coordination, clear communication, and a genuine commitment to customers. As a Customer Coordinator you will be the person coordinating jobs, working with customers, scheduling trades, following up on outstanding work, and making sure information is accurate and up to date. You will spend your day balancing priorities, solving problems, and keeping people informed.
If you are organised, proactive, and enjoy working with a wide range of people, this is an opportunity to join a team that delivers services that make a real difference to New Zealand communities.
What you will be doing
As a Customer Coordinator, you will be the central point of coordination between customers, trades, and internal teams. You will manage work orders from initial request through to invoicing and closure, ensuring KPI requirements are met and customers remain informed throughout the process.
You will also support the management of customer complaints, provide reporting and administrative support, and work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders to deliver positive outcomes. A day will consist of:
· Managing maintenance work orders from initial request through to completion, invoicing, and closure.
· Scheduling and dispatching the right trade for each job based on location, skills, availability, and customer requirements.
· Communicating with customers throughout the process and ensuring they know what to expect.
· Monitoring work progress and following up to ensure jobs are completed within required timeframes.
· Responding to customer enquiries via phone and email and ensuring actions are followed through.
· Managing customer complaints, investigating issues, and working with the wider team to find practical solutions.
· Maintaining accurate records and updating systems with job and customer information.
· Producing reports and supporting the team with administration and data management tasks.
· Identifying trends, recurring issues, and opportunities to improve service delivery and efficiency
What you will bring
We are looking for someone who can stay on top of multiple moving parts while maintaining a high level of customer service.
Ideally you will have:
· Previous experience in customer service, administration, scheduling, coordination, or a similar role.
· Strong communication skills and confidence speaking with a wide range of people.
· Excellent organisational and time management skills.
· Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accurate record keeping.
· The ability to prioritise work, solve problems, and adapt when priorities change.
· Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and experience working with databases or work management systems.
· A positive, team-focused approach and a willingness to take ownership of your work.
· Experience within property maintenance, trades, construction, housing, or facilities management would be advantageous but is not essential.
