In the role of Custom Software Engineering Lead, a typical day involves overseeing the technical direction and architectural design of bespoke software solutions. This position requires guiding and mentoring teams throughout the design and delivery phases, ensuring that development standards are maintained. The role also includes monitoring code quality, scalability, and performance to align with the overarching business goals. Collaboration with various stakeholders to drive project success and continuous improvement forms a key part of daily activities, fostering innovation and technical excellence within the team.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead the development and implementation of best practices to enhance software quality and efficiency.
- Facilitate communication between technical teams and business units to ensure alignment of objectives.
- Mentor junior team members to support their professional growth and skill development.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Murex Back Office Workflows, Murex Connectivity 2.0.
- Good To Have Skills: Experience with Murex Connectivity 2.0.
- Strong knowledge of workflow automation and process optimization within financial software environments.
- Ability to design scalable and maintainable software architectures tailored to complex business requirements.
- Experience in troubleshooting and resolving technical challenges in back office operations.
- Familiarity with integration techniques and middleware solutions to support seamless connectivity.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Murex Back Office Workflows.
- This position is based at our HDC5A - SEZ location.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
