Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineering Lead, a typical day involves overseeing the technical vision and architectural framework of bespoke software projects. This role requires guiding teams through the entire lifecycle of software design and implementation, ensuring that development practices meet organizational goals. The position demands continuous collaboration with various stakeholders to align project outcomes with business needs, while maintaining a focus on delivering scalable and high-performing solutions. The lead also dedicates time to reviewing progress, addressing challenges, and fostering an environment that supports innovation and quality throughout the development process.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Lead and mentor team members to enhance their technical capabilities and professional growth.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of software components.
- Monitor project timelines and resource allocation to maintain efficient workflow and meet deadlines.
- Promote best practices in software development, including code reviews and adherence to quality standards.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Java Enterprise Edition.
- Strong knowledge of software architecture principles and design patterns related to enterprise applications.
- Experience with application servers, middleware technologies, and integration frameworks.
- Ability to optimize application performance and scalability in distributed environments.
- Familiarity with version control systems and continuous integration/continuous deployment pipelines.
- Skilled in troubleshooting complex technical issues and providing effective solutions.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Java Enterprise Edition.
- This position is based at our Chennai office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
