As a Custom Software Engineering Lead, a typical day involves overseeing the technical vision and architectural framework of bespoke software projects. This role requires guiding teams through the entire lifecycle of software development, from initial design concepts to final delivery. The position demands continuous alignment of development practices with organizational goals, ensuring that solutions are robust, scalable, and efficient. Collaboration with various stakeholders to maintain high standards and drive innovation is a key aspect of daily activities, fostering an environment where quality and performance are prioritized throughout the project execution.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead the establishment and enforcement of development standards to ensure consistency and quality across projects.
- Mentor and support team members to enhance their technical skills and professional growth.
- Coordinate cross-functional efforts to align software architecture with evolving business requirements.
- Facilitate effective communication channels between technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure clarity and shared understanding.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP for Utilities Billing.
- Strong knowledge of software architecture principles and best practices related to custom software development.
- Experience in leading software development teams and managing project delivery timelines.
- Ability to design scalable and high-performance software solutions tailored to business needs.
- Familiarity with quality assurance processes and code review methodologies to maintain code integrity.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on innovative and practical solutions.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 8 years of experience in SAP for Utilities Billing.
- This position is based at our KDC1A - SEZ location.
