Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves leading the design, development, and configuration of software applications tailored to meet specific organizational needs. This role requires coordinating with various stakeholders to ensure that the applications align with business objectives. The engineer acts as the main liaison, overseeing the progress of projects, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring seamless integration of solutions. Collaboration with cross-functional teams and managing priorities to deliver high-quality software solutions are key aspects of the daily routine, fostering innovation and efficiency within the development lifecycle.

- Expected to be a SME with deep knowledge and experience.
- Should have Influencing and Advisory skills.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Expected to provide solutions to problems that apply across multiple teams.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance software development processes and outcomes.
- Mentor and support junior team members to foster professional growth and knowledge sharing.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in ServiceNow IT Service Management.
- Strong expertise in application design, development, and configuration within the ServiceNow platform.
- Experience in integrating ServiceNow solutions with other enterprise systems and tools.
- Ability to analyze complex business requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
- Familiarity with IT service management best practices and frameworks to optimize service delivery.
- Skilled in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues to maintain system reliability and performance.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 15 years of experience in ServiceNow IT Service Management.
- This position is based at our Pune office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
