Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves leading the design, development, and configuration of software applications. This role requires taking ownership of the project s technical direction and serving as the main liaison for all application-related activities. The position demands coordinating with various stakeholders to ensure the solutions meet business needs while maintaining high standards of quality and performance. The engineer actively oversees the progress of development tasks and ensures seamless integration of components, fostering a collaborative environment to drive project success.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Facilitate communication between technical and non-technical team members to ensure clarity and alignment.
- Mentor junior team members to support their professional growth and enhance team capabilities.
- Continuously evaluate and improve development processes to increase efficiency and product quality.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in PySpark.
- Strong experience in distributed computing and big data processing frameworks.
- Ability to optimize and troubleshoot complex data pipelines and workflows.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms and integration of PySpark applications in cloud environments.
- Experience with data transformation, cleansing, and aggregation techniques using PySpark.
- Knowledge of performance tuning and resource management in large-scale data processing.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in PySpark.
- This position is based at our DDC5E - SEZ office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
