Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Android Infotainment Application Lead to lead the design, development, and delivery of Android-based infotainment applications in the automotive domain. The candidate will drive Android application architecture decisions, ensure seamless integration with Android Automotive OS (AAOS), and guide a team of developers toward high-quality, reliable, and scalable solutions.

Roles & Responsibilities:
1. Lead end-to-end design, development, and deployment of Android infotainment applications.
2. Define and maintain Android Application Architecture (MVVM, MVP, Clean Architecture) to ensure scalability and maintainability.
3. Collaborate with UX/UI designers, middleware, framework, and hardware teams for integration and alignment.
4. Ensure compliance with Android Automotive OS, GMS, CTS/GTS standards.
5. Drive requirement analysis, estimation, and roadmap planning for infotainment applications.
6. Perform code reviews, performance tuning, and optimization to meet OEM/Tier-1 quality standards.
7. Mentor and guide engineers on Android app design patterns, architecture principles, and best practices.
8. Work with testing teams to implement unit tests, instrumentation tests, and automation frameworks.
9. Act as a technical point of contact with OEMs/Tier-1 suppliers for requirements and delivery discussions


Professional & Technical Skills:
1. More years of experience in Infotainment domain with experience in Android Development.
2. Strong hands-on experience in Android application development (Java, Kotlin).
3. Proven expertise in Android application architecture (MVVM, MVP, Clean Architecture, Dependency Injection Dagger/Hilt, Jetpack libraries).
4. Experience in AAOS (Android Automotive OS), AOSP, and infotainment domains (Media, Navigation, Connectivity, Voice Assistants, Vehicle Data integration).
5. Knowledge of Google GMS certification, CTS/GTS compliance.
6. Familiarity with CI/CD, Git, Jenkins, Gradle build systems.
7. Strong debugging skills using ADB, Logcat, Systrace, Perf tools.
8. Demonstrated leadership in guiding a team of developers and managing deliverables.
9. Excellent communication and collaboration skills across global teams
10. Understanding of Android framework/middleware layers beyond applications.
11. Exposure to functional safety (ISO 26262) and cybersecurity (ISO 21434) requirements.
12. Hands-on with test automation (Espresso, JUnit, UI Automator).
13. Experience with OEM/Tier-1 infotainment projects.
14. Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
15. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
