Your next career opportunity 
You will create high-impact curriculum resources that enable educators to showcase Indigenous Knowledges with confidence.
You will work with Indigenous Knowledge experts and educators nationwide to design teacher-ready, curriculum-aligned learning experiences.

What you will deliver: 

• Design and refine curriculum modules, learning experiences and teacher support materials aligned with Ngarrngga’s methodology.
• Develop interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary resources that map to Australian and relevant state curriculum frameworks.
• Translate Indigenous Knowledge content and case studies into accessible, age-appropriate, culturally respectful classroom materials.
• Document sources, permissions, attribution, curriculum links and review status within Ngarrngga’s database and systems.
• Participate in team planning, feedback cycles, quality assurance and educator engagement, contributing to research-informed outputs.

You may be a great fit if you: 

• Hold a recognised teaching qualification and classroom or leadership experience in primary or secondary school settings.
• Demonstrate strong curriculum planning expertise using Australian and state curriculum frameworks, including cross-curriculum priorities.
• Bring experience designing high-quality learning experiences, teacher materials, assessments and differentiated resources for diverse learners.
• Apply culturally responsive pedagogies and work respectfully with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Knowledges.
• Exercise care and integrity in managing Indigenous Cultural and Intellectual Property, attribution and provenance requirements.
• Translate complex research and expert input into clear, accessible, teacher-ready curriculum resources within collaborative teams.
• Work responsively and flexibly in iterative design processes, including the capacity to receive feedback, refine work and adapt to changing priorities.
• Bring a reflexive, relational and humble approach to curriculum work, including openness to ongoing learning, collaboration and careful engagement with complexity.
