Role Definition

Leads, coordinates, and implements multiple global social programs to promote Corporate Social Responsibility and organizational presence in communities consistent with organizational objectives.

Responsibilities

• Working with local stakeholders to engage and amplify the efforts of the organization.

• Obtaining relevant information for successful implementation from organizations, such as program, risk and reputational details, budget, and marketing goals.

• Evaluating programs for compatibility with public relations efforts and communicating and reporting for senior management.

• Observing social, economic, and political trends that might have an effect on the organization, and making recommendations to enhance the organization's image based on those trends.

Degree Requirement

Preferred - Full time degree in MSW (URCD, FCW, MPSW), or equivalent education with relevant field & corporate experience of 10-15 years

Social Responsibility: Knowledge of what social responsibility means to the organization and the ability to align socially responsibility-related initiatives with business strategy to build a sustainable business model.

Level Working Knowledge:

• Assists in conducting research related to best socially responsible practices.

• Assists in integrating socially responsible practices into organizational policies.

• Documents common obstacles and barriers for effective implementation of green/ socially responsible practices.

• Interprets and evaluates compliance status reports.

Organizational Governance: Knowledge of the processes, customs, policies, and rules affecting the way the organization is administered and controlled; ability to ensure compliance with governance guidelines and policies.

• Oversees reporting requirements, and creates monitoring and control mechanisms.

• Plans, estimates, staffs, organizes and monitors a set of projects within a program.

10 plus years of CSR experience with Large NGOs or corporates.
