We’ve just launched a new quoting platform, and we’re looking for a Senior Conversion Rate Optimisation Manager to make that experience faster, smoother and more personal.

About the role

You’ll own how BizCover turns website visitors into customers, from the first landing page to bind, cross sell and renewal, across AU, NZ and the US.

You’ll sit in our Product and Customer Acquisition team and work closely with Marketing, Data, Engineering and Design. Your first mission is to lift conversion on our new quoting platform. From there, you’ll drive ongoing growth in conversion and upsell across our websites and quote flow.

AI is central to how this role works. You’ll use it to speed up research, hypotheses, design and analysis, so the team can test more ideas and learn faster.

What you’ll do

• Own the customer journey from first website visit through quote to first purchase
• Map the journey, find the friction and build a prioritised optimisation roadmap
• Write clear, evidence based hypotheses using analytics, session insights and customer feedback
• Design and run A/B, multivariate and split URL tests with the right sample sizes and guardrails
• Build personalised experiences by industry, campaign, traffic source and device
• Make sure landing pages and quote flows match what customers were promised in the ad
• Wireframe new flows in Figma to help launch new products
• Turn test results into FY revenue forecasts and share learnings across the business
• Partner with our AI team on customer facing AI experiences in the quote journey
• Lead a small team (Data Analyst, Developer and QA), set priorities and own delivery
• Coach others in good test design and grow experimentation capability across BizCover

Requirements

What you’ll bring

• 7+ years in CRO, growth, digital marketing or digital product
• Expert knowledge of CRO and experimentation methods, including test statistics, sample sizing and guardrail metrics
• Hands on expertise with an experimentation or personalisation platform (e.g. Optimizely, VWO, AB Tasty, Adobe Target, Kameleoon, Statsig), including its AI features
• Strong web analytics and tag management (e.g. GA4, Adobe Analytics, Google Tag Manager); SQL and Power BI desirable
• 1+ years leading a CRO, UX or digital team and owning delivery outcomes
• Track record of revenue gains proven through controlled experiments, ideally on multi step funnels
• Worked closely with marketing teams to improve landing page and channel conversion
• Hands on with session replay and behavioural tools (e.g. Hotjar, Microsoft Clarity, Contentsquare)
• Understanding of paid and organic acquisition channels and marketing attribution
• UX research, journey mapping and wireframing within a design system, ideally Figma
• Comfortable with Jira and agile deliver

• Online insurance, financial services or another regulated purchase environment
• Personalisation driven by CRM, campaign or first party data, or AI driven personalisation (predictive targeting, bandit testing)
• Conversational AI in an online purchase journey
• Scaling a CRO or experimentation team from a small base
• Basic HTML, CSS or JavaScript to brief or build simple test variants
