Working closely with the show production, project development teams, and the Head of Resourcing you will plan and allocate appropriate resources, ensuring optimal crew deployment to maximise efficiency and maintain show schedules. You will be the key contact for your artist group offering support and guidance.

● Working closely with the show production, project development teams, and the Head
of Resourcing to plan and allocate appropriate resources, ensuring optimal crew
deployment to maximise efficiency and maintain show schedules.
● Maintain a comprehensive database of available talent and their skill sets.
● Line managing the crew in your teams, conduct regular performance reviews and
providing mentoring and career development guidance.
● Managing lifecycle events for your team; onboarding, contract changes, salary and
promotion actions and offboarding as required.
● Ensuring the team has access to the necessary tools, software, and equipment
escalating requests to tech where needed.
● Monitoring needs for hiring within your teams, working with the recruitment team and
the Head of Resourcing to facilitate.
● Keep crew scheduling software up to date with adapting needs on a weekly basis.
● Work closely with department HODs on balancing skills within their disciplines.
Flagging training needs to the HOD’s and People team.
● Be the first point of contact for artists day to day line management, escalating any
ongoing concerns to the People team where needed.
● Maintain a high team morale and support any artist wellbeing challenges.
Skills and Attributes
● Understanding of basic local employment law and the application of local contracts,
benefits and local staff policies to be able to support artist queries.

Experience Needed
● Previous experience in the VFX Industry is essential.
● Basic understanding of VFX pipelines and workflows.
● Good employment law and contract knowledge.
● Previous line management and understanding of how to motivate and support teams
is essential.
