How you will create an impact

• Responsible for the day to day management of Credit Control Team
• Escalation point for the Credit Control Team
• To mentor and assist the Team to reduce aged debt, escalated issues, build strong relationships with back-office processing functions including but not limited to Lloyd’s brokers, coverholders, lead insurers and the Lloyd’s central market premium processing platform.
• Responsible for the day to day oversight and workflow management of a team ensuring productivity, targets and objectives met.
• Ensure all team members have documented objectives, regularly review individual and team performance targets, outputs and behaviors providing timely feedback.
• Ensure that all processes and procedures are version control documented, reviewed regularly and consistently adhered to.
• Monitor and review all premium and unallocated cash postings for accuracy and MI reporting.
• Provide daily, weekly and monthly reporting for all required team metrics, as and when required.
• Produce operational and subject matter guidance for all team processes.
• Regularly liaise with external parties including clients, brokers, and Underwriters, and you will need to establish good working relationships accordingly to ensure targets and objectives are achieved in the payment of premium in a timely manner

  • Risk, Compliance and Internal Audit

What you’ll need to succeed

• Experience in Team Management is preferable– resourcing, training and development
• A good understanding of underwriting and underwriting operations
• Knowledge of Lloyd’s operational processes and systems
• Working with Process Development Teams and implementation of new business processes
• Previous experience working within a Credit Control department desirable
• Insurance Credit Control reconciliation experience desirable
• Understanding of Slips, associated endorsements and closings essential
• Knowledge of Lloyd’s market practices preferred
