Are you a strategic thinker with a passion for storytelling, creativity and culture? We're looking for a curious and collaborative Creative Strategist to join our Creative Direction team and help shape the thinking behind MECCA's biggest creative ideas.

From exciting brand campaigns and cultural moments to defining the long-term direction of the MECCA brand, you'll play an important role in bringing together customer insights, cultural understanding and creative thinking to build meaningful and distinctive brand experiences.

The Role You Could Play:

Reporting to the Head of Creative Strategy, you'll help shape the strategic foundations that bring MECCA's creative vision to life. Working closely with our Creative Direction, Marketing and wider business teams, you'll turn insights into inspiring ideas, compelling narratives and clear creative direction.

Key responsibilities include:

• Partnering with the Head of Creative Strategy to lead cultural and creative research, translating customer insights and business objectives into meaningful creative strategies.

• Collaborating with creative leaders to shape big ideas, brand campaigns and creative projects from their earliest stages.

• Developing compelling narrative frameworks and hero messaging that bring MECCA's brand stories to life.

• Connecting brand, category and business strategies to ensure creative ideas are purposeful, relevant and distinctive.

• Bringing clarity and strategic direction to complex creative challenges, helping shape MECCA's brand identity and long-term creative vision.

What You Will Bring:

We're looking for someone who combines strong strategic thinking with a natural flair for storytelling and a genuine curiosity about culture, creativity and consumer behaviour.

• Experience in brand strategy, creative strategy or copywriting within an agency or brand environment.

• Experience developing creative briefs, brand identity frameworks or long-term brand platforms.

• Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to turn complex insights into clear, inspiring creative direction.

• A talent for storytelling and crafting compelling narratives and messaging, with the confidence to contribute to creative conversations.

• A collaborative and curious mindset, with the ability to influence and build strong relationships with creatives, designers and storytellers.
