CPO Mechanic

Location: Korinthos, Greece
Department: Production
Reports to: Production Manager

About the Role

We are looking for a CPO Mechanic to join our Production team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the proper operation and continuous availability of all equipment within the CPO area, supporting production efficiency, product quality and compliance with safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure containers are correctly processed and released from the washing phase.
• Carry out adjustments, repairs, lubrication and replacement of machine parts within the CPO area.
• Drain and clean filters, tanks and associated equipment.
• Monitor production processes and equipment performance, identifying and reporting abnormalities.
• Start up and shut down CPO equipment according to operating procedures.
• Perform routine inspections and first-line troubleshooting activities.
• Execute preventive maintenance tasks during the shift.
• Support planned maintenance activities and equipment interventions.
• Ensure compliance with Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) requirements.
• Follow all Quality Management System and Food Safety standards.
• Maintain cleanliness, order and good housekeeping within the work area.
• Adhere to company emergency response procedures and safety protocols.

Qualifications & Experience

• Technical Diploma in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Maintenance, Electromechanical Maintenance or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Practical knowledge of industrial equipment and machinery.
• Knowledge of preventive maintenance practices.
• Understanding of Health & Safety requirements within an industrial environment.
• Knowledge of Quality and Food Safety standards is considered an asset.
