We are seeking an enthusiastic, detail-oriented Corporate Events Marketing Specialist to support the planning, execution, and integrated marketing of our corporate events strategy. This role requires a strong coordinator who can collaborate with multiple internal stakeholders while supporting budgets, promotions, timelines, on-site execution, and post-event reporting.

As a key member of our Corporate Marketing Team, you will support pipeline growth and revenue generation by helping execute targeted, integrated event campaigns that engage prospects at net-new accounts. You will help ensure alignment across the organization while supporting multi-channel marketing programs to maximize engagement, accelerate opportunity progression, and deliver measurable business impact. In addition, you will focus on delivering exceptional experiences that "wow" our members, customers, and prospects, enhancing satisfaction, loyalty, and long-term relationships.

The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in event marketing, a desire to grow in the cybersecurity space, and a metrics-minded approach with a track record of supporting high-impact events.

What You'll Be Doing

Marketing Strategy Support

• Support the development and execution of event strategies aligned with GuidePoint's brand, business goals, and cross-functional input.
• Assist in planning and managing events end-to-end (pre-, during-, and post-event) to ensure alignment on messaging, objectives, and audience engagement.
• Coordinate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to drive seamless execution and maximize pipeline impact.
• Track, compile, and report on event ROI and attribution metrics, providing data to help optimize future investments.
• Maintain clear communication and processes with leadership, Sales, and other teams for efficient event execution and follow-up.
• Utilize marketing tools including CRM (Salesforce), marketing automation (Marketo), and event platforms (CVENT) to support event operations.

Event Execution

• Coordinate and support the production of Vendor and Tier-2 events, including conferences, trade shows, vendor sponsorships, and internal company events targeting IT and Security audiences.
• Manage event logistics including communications, documentation, registration, shipping coordination, and on-site execution.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors (agencies, catering, logistics, facilities, shipping) to ensure seamless event delivery.
• Support integrated marketing campaigns and co-marketing sponsorships tied to events.
• Co-own corporate marketing assets such as newsletters and all-hands slides.
• Manage event budgets and timelines to help ensure events are delivered on schedule and within financial targets.
• Maintain consistent GuidePoint messaging and brand presence across all event experiences.
• Serve as the on-site lead for smaller events and provide on-site support for larger events.

Experience

• Minimum 3 years of experience in B2B event marketing (corporate environment preferred).
• Marketo, CVENT, or related marketing platform experience required.
• Experience with Salesforce or other CRM software.
• Demonstrates a willingness to learn and use AI-enabled tools
• Strong project management skills and attention to detail.
• Self-starter with a positive, solution-oriented approach.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred.

Travel Requirements

Must be willing and able to travel up to 50%.

Physical Requirements

• Sedentary work with periods of physical activity during events.
• Substantial movement of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers for a minimum of 8 hours a day.
• Required to have close visual acuity to view computer terminal and/or extensive reading for a minimum of 8 hours a day.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
