What you’ll do
• Material Planning: Ensure uninterrupted production by managing critical material planning processes, coordinating with internal departments and suppliers to guarantee materials availability when required.
• Inventory Management: Manage and review safety stock levels, conduct cycle counts, and maintain stock accuracy to support production needs.
• Production Support: Ensure materials consumption is accurately tracked on all production orders and oversee timely and accurate subcontractor processing.
• Performance Monitoring: Analyze data and reporting to continuously improve material planning efficiency and supply chain objectives.
• Travel Requirements: Occasional travel may be required to supplier sites or other company locations to support coordination and process improvements.
• Safety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world-class safety culture.
What you’ll bring
Must-haves:
• Degree in Industrial Engineering or Operations Management, Production Management.
• Proficiency with SAP/ERP systems and understanding of MRP processes.
• Strong skills in inventory management and supplier coordination.
• Ability to analyze data and apply continuous improvement methodologies.
Nice-to-haves:
• Experience in foundry operations.
• Certification in SAP/ERP systems.
• Background in supply chain or logistics within mining or manufacturing industries.
• Familiarity with safety and quality standards in production environments.
