Job Summary

Under close supervision, performs work activities and projects requiring technical knowledge in a safe, effective, efficient and economic accomplishment of assigned objectives.to place greater emphasis on material management and procurement-related responsibilities. Key areas should include supporting project material tracking, forecasting material requirements, monitoring ordering trends, developing reports and metrics, coordinating with vendors, and assisting project teams in ensuring materials are available to support project schedules.

Job Description

What You Will Do:

·       Assist with providing input to annual budget, capital forecasts, five-year plan and improvement requisitions.

·       Perform varied assignments demonstrating technical knowledge and analytical techniques to solve problems or analysis.

·       Participate in company and contractor meetings covering outage/project schedule, safety issues and operations and maintenance of equipment.

·       Assist in evaluating contracting methods, reviewing drawings and preparing basic cost estimates using established standards.

·       Participate in the planning and organization of outage/project work activities.

·       Assist in the preparation of technical reports and papers.

·       Apply problem solving skills to resolve technical problems and initiate solution techniques.

·   Understand and monitor labor relation activities; develop and maintain rapport to assure cooperation and productive working relationships with contractors.

·       Work with others in both supplying information and seeking assistance as necessary.

 

What You Will Need:

Education:

Bachelor's degree in a related field from an accredited university or college;

OR an Associate's degree and 2 years of experience in design, operations, planning, construction, or maintenance of systems and/or equipment;

OR a high school diploma or GED and 4 years of experience in design, operations, planning, construction, or maintenance of systems and/or equipment.

$63,496.00 - $79,369.00
