The Content Creator – Content Strategist & Web Copy Editor will be responsible for developing, improving, and managing high-quality digital content across Marmon business websites. The role combines content strategy, copywriting, editing, SEO-focused content development, and brand storytelling to ensure website content is clear, engaging, accurate, consistent, and aligned with business objectives.Content Creator who can turn business and product knowledge into web content that ranks and converts. The role owns the content model, the editorial calendar, page briefs, writing and editing, and the publishing governance that keeps 20+ Marmon sites consistent. The person sits between Marmon business marketing, who own the brand and the message, and our build team, who put the content live. We are looking for editorial judgement rather than volume: someone who uses AI for drafting without letting it flatten the voice.
Mandatory Skills
• 5–8 years of B2B or industrial web content experience, covering both strategy and hands on writing
• Strong editing discipline, with the ability to take a technical product input and make it clear and persuasive for the web
• CMS fluency, including content modelling, publishing workflows and governance across multiple sites
• Working knowledge of SEO content practice, including keyword and topic clusters, briefs and on page structure
Desired Skills
• Experience building and running an editorial calendar across several brands or business units
• Familiarity with WordPress and WooCommerce content operations
• Practical use of AI tools for research and drafting, with a clear view on where the line sits
• Exposure to product content, PIM driven product descriptions or technical documentation
Key Responsibilities
• Own the content model and editorial calendar for the assigned Marmon business sites
• Write and edit web copy, landing pages, product and category content, and supporting assets
• Produce page briefs that the SEO, UX and engineering team can work from
• Maintain brand and messaging consistency across the portfolio, with brand approval staying with business marketing
• Run publishing governance, including review cycles, content standards and a refresh schedule for ageing pages
• Work with the SEO specialist so content serves findability, and with UX so it serves conversion
• Track content performance and retire or rewrite what is not working
