The Opportunity
Great stories don't tell themselves.
We're looking for a Communications Specialist to help bring the Netwealth story to life through earned media, organic social media, and thought leadership. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Customer & Adviser Communications, you'll play a key role in elevating Netwealth's profile, building brand awareness and helping position us as a leading voice in wealth technology.
This is an exciting opportunity for a communications professional who enjoys a mix of media relations, content creation, social media and stakeholder engagement. You'll work across a broad range of initiatives, partnering with teams across the business to identify compelling stories, drive communications opportunities and deliver integrated communications activity that engages advisers, clients and the broader market.
What you'll do
Develop and execute earned media, thought leadership and organic social media initiatives that support Netwealth's strategic priorities.
Identify and shape compelling stories, proactively uncovering communications opportunities across the business.
Manage relationships with our communications agency and coordinate media opportunities, enquiries and stakeholder engagement activities.
Support executives and subject matter experts with media preparation, speaker briefs, talking points and thought leadership content.
Measure communications performance and provide insights and recommendations to continually improve results.
About you
5+ years' experience in communications, public relations, media relations, corporate affairs or a similar field.
Strong writing, editing and storytelling skills, with the ability to translate complex topics into engaging content.
Experience developing and managing organic social media strategies, particularly on LinkedIn.
A proactive and curious mindset, with the confidence to identify opportunities and generate ideas independently.
Strong stakeholder management skills and experience working with senior leaders and subject matter experts.
Experience in financial services or another regulated environment will be highly regarded.
