This is a rare opportunity to join HPE’s world-class Global Communications team. With more than 100 communicators across the globe, we advocate for HPE’s corporate strategy, business innovation, and thought leadership. We are seeking a strategic internal communications manager to help shape how HPE communicates some of its most important people priorities. From talent and performance initiatives to career and rewards programs, you'll build and execute compelling narratives and engaging communication experiences that resonate with team members around the world.

How you’ll make your mark:

As a member of the Team Member Communications team, you will serve as a strategic communications advisor to Human Resources to help shape how HPE communicates and amplifies the experiences that enable our people to do their best work, grow their careers, and thrive, including but not limited to career development, performance management, and benefits and rewards. You'll partner closely with HR leaders and cross-functional stakeholders to develop audience-based communication strategies, advise on messaging approaches, influence outcomes, and deliver campaigns to educate and inform both leaders and team members. Your work will help strengthen trust, drive engagement, and connect HPE's people strategy to our broader business ambitions. Success in this role requires equal parts strategist, storyteller, consultant, and executor.

In this role, you will:

• Support HR communications initiatives by translating people-related programs, policies, and priorities into clear, practical, and engaging messages for global audiences.
• Develop communication strategies for people leaders and team members that support HPE priorities across talent, performance, and rewards experiences.
• Draft, edit, and coordinate content for multiple internal channels, including email messages, intranet articles, talking points, presentations, social posts, and engagement materials.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to HR teams on communication best practices and strategies.
• Project manage with leadership oversight; lead communications timelines, reviews, and deliverables across stakeholders and program owners to ensure accurate, timely execution.
• Ensure all communications are clear, compelling, inclusive, and aligned with HPE’s writing style, brand standards, and tone.
• Use engagement data, feedback, and performance insights to refine communication approaches and strengthen team member engagement.

• Creative thinking and willingness to experiment with new communication tactics, channels, and formats.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with integrity, discretion, and sound judgment.
• Strong program management, prioritization, and organizational skills.
• Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
• Positive, collaborative approach with the initiative to take ownership, contribute ideas, and ask for support when needed.

Qualifications:

• BA or BS in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 7+ years of experience in internal communications, employee communications, HR communications, leadership communications, journalism, marketing communications, or a related field.
• Experience supporting HR, culture, or employee engagement communications is a plus.
• Proficient command of English (US), including excellent grammar, composition, editing, and proofreading skills.
• Familiarity with content management systems, collaboration tools, social media platforms, and basic multimedia or design tools is preferred.
• A portfolio of writing, editing, or communications work is preferred.
