As an MRO Commodity Manager, you will manage sourcing activities, MRO service providers, and build strategic relationships throughout the company.
What You’ll Bring
Experience and Qualifications
- You have a bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Engineering, Business, Finance, Operations Management or a related field.
- You bring 5+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, project management, engineering procurement, or CAPEX procurement.
- You are proficient with ERP systems (SAP).
- You can travel approximately 50% of the time.
What You’ll Do
In this role you'll develop MRO category strategies, lead strategic supplier relationships, and negotiate pricing agreement and rebates.
- Develop and execute MRO sourcing strategies: You will reduce costs, drive standardization, strengthen supplier partnerships, and support regional and global procurement initiatives.
- Lead supplier management efforts: You’ll conduct performance reviews, track KPIs, drive continuous improvement, and resolve supply, quality, and commercial issues.
- Negotiate contracts and commercial agreements: You will negotiate pricing, service levels, inventory programs, payment terms, warranties, and other key business terms while ensuring policy compliance.
- Optimize MRO inventory and operational performance: You’ll partner with plant teams to improve spare parts strategies, reduce obsolete inventory, and enhance working capital.
- Serve as the primary procurement partner for MRO activities: You will manage over $150M in annual spend, support critical purchase orders, deliver savings targets, and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders across manufacturing operations.
