How you will make contributions that matter
Join Saputo Dairy Australia as a Commercial Analyst within our FP&A team at Freshwater Place. This role combines accurate commercial reporting with analysis, curiosity and business partnering. You will bring together financial information, investigate the story behind the numbers and provide insights that support better decisions across finance and the broader business. Key elements of your role will include:
- Preparing daily and weekly sales reports for Foodservices and Route channels
- Consolidating weekly Commercial P&L reporting and providing clear commentary
- Completing month-end reconciliations, journals and profitability reporting
- Supporting budgeting, forecasting and division-wide management reporting
- Analysing customer profitability, purchase price variance, freight and inventory
- Partnering with Commercial Finance, Sales, Operations, Procurement and site finance to understand performance drivers
- Investigating trends and anomalies, identifying issues and turning data into practical commercial insights
- Contributing to regular and ad hoc business performance analysis and projects
About you
- Tertiary qualification in Business, Finance or Accounting, together with a CA or CPA qualification
- At least three years’ relevant experience, ideally within FMCG, manufacturing, dairy or another complex commercial environment
- Advanced Excel capability, including building, running and interpreting financial reports and models
- Strong analytical skills and genuine curiosity to understand what is driving the numbers
- Sound commercial acumen and the confidence to provide meaningful commentary and recommendations
- High attention to detail, strong organisation and the ability to deliver accurate work to agreed timeframes
- A proactive, hands-on and self-directed approach, with the willingness to seek answers rather than wait for direction
- Clear communication skills and the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders
- Experience with BI reporting tools; SAP exposure is advantageous but not essential
