Job Description:
This job is responsible for evaluating the creditworthiness of businesses seeking loans or credit by analyzing financial statements, credit reports, and other financial data to assess risk and make recommendations on loan approval and terms. Key responsibilities include developing financial profiles, creating risk reports, and monitoring existing loan portfolios to ensure financial obligations can be met and to comply with institutional policies. Job expectations include working alongside senior commercial credit analysts on complex projects and analyses.

Responsibilities:

• Reviews financial statements, business credit reports, and other financial documents
• Determines the credit risk of a business by analyzing its financial condition, past repayment history, and industry trends
• Monitors the performance of existing loans, ensuring compliance with credit policies, and performing ongoing maintenance for the loan portfolio
• Works closely with loan officers, relationship managers, and other departments to gather necessary information and support the lending process

Requirements:

• 2 years of Small Business Credit Card Underwriting experience

Minimum Education Requirement: High School Diploma / GED / Secondary School or equivalent
