We are looking for an entry level commercial professional to join our Americas organization and contribute to the growth of international industrial business.
This is more than an administrative support position. The Commercial Operations Associate – Americas Primary products will work closely with sales, customers, and our manufacturing organization in Sweden, gaining hands-on experience in commercial operations, business development, customer relationships, market intelligence, and international business.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to take on increasing commercial responsibility as their experience and capabilities develop.
About the Role
As Commercial Operations Associate Primary products, you will support the Regional Sales & Marketing Manager in developing and expanding the Americas business.
You will work across multiple areas of the commercial organization, providing immediate support to ongoing business activities while developing the skills needed for a long-term career in industrial sales and commercial management.
You will interact with customers, internal teams, and colleagues internationally, including our Swedish manufacturing organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop the Market: Identify new markets, customers, industries, and business opportunities across the Americas.
- Support Business Development: Generate leads and support customer visits, meetings, trade shows, and growth initiatives.
- Build Customer Relationships: Engage with customers and ensure professional, timely follow-up throughout the commercial process.
- Coordinate Commercial Activities: Connect customers, the Americas sales organization, and Swedish manufacturing to ensure effective execution.
- Manage Opportunities: Support quotations, proposals, pipeline management, forecasting, and follow-up of sales opportunities.
- Provide Market Intelligence: Monitor market trends, customer needs, competitors, and industry developments to identify growth opportunities.
- Drive Commercial Execution: Follow up on orders, open actions, and customer issues, coordinating internally to ensure timely resolution.
- Support Regional Growth: Prepare commercial analyses, reports, presentations, and other initiatives that contribute to the continued growth of the Americas business.
What We're Looking For
We are looking for a motivated, curious, and commercially minded professional who wants to build a career in industrial sales, business development, and international business.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Marketing, International Business, or a related field is preferred. Relevant professional experience may substitute for a bachelor's degree.
- 0–3 years of professional experience
- Internship, co-op, or other relevant commercial experience is desirable
- Interest in industrial manufacturing and international business
- Experience or exposure to an industrial, manufacturing, engineering, or related business environment is a plus
