The Opportunity

The Commercial Account Manager interacts with commercial clients, maintains professional business relationships with new and existing clients and insurers and manages an entire book of business. The Commercial Account Manager reviews and prepares the commercial client files, leads marketing efforts, evaluating and pricing the insured’s risk.

What We're Looking For

• Level 2 license is required
• 1-3 years experience in commercial insurance is a definite asset
• Completion of CAIB 1, 2, 3 preferred
• Current knowledge in all aspects of commercial property is required
• Intermediate level of understating in specialty lines
• Proficient computer skills with Broker Management Software Systems; including Policy Works
• Ability to multi-task and interact in a professional manner with clients, colleagues, and operational functions
• Good problem-solving skills and the ability to make the necessary decisions to move forward the work at hand
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently under minimal daily direction
