The Opportunity

As a Columbus - DAT - Intern, you will engage in a dynamic learning environment, gaining exposure to PwC's practices and methodologies within our Assurance practice. You will support teams by participating in projects, conducting research, and performing basic tasks that contribute to the team's success. This role offers a unique opportunity to observe and learn from experienced professionals, enhancing your understanding of audit and assurance processes.

As an Intern, you will focus on developing your skills by supporting teams, observing professional work environments, and participating in projects. You will be encouraged to adopt a learning mindset, actively listen, and express ideas clearly. This role emphasizes the importance of gaining exposure and learning new skills, while contributing to project goals.

In this role, you will have the chance to work on a variety of assignments, each presenting different challenges and scope. Responsibilities

- Supporting audit teams by participating in the execution of digital assurance tasks
- Observing and learning from experienced auditors to gain insights into financial reporting and compliance
- Assisting in the application of auditing methodologies to enhance the accuracy and reliability of assessments
- Engaging in basic research to support audit processes and decision-making
- Participating in the development and testing of artificial intelligence platforms for audit purposes
- Contributing to the evaluation of internal controls and governance frameworks
- Collaborating with team members to address compliance and governance challenges
- Applying cloud engineering principles to optimize audit processes and data management
- Gathering and analyzing data to identify patterns and support audit conclusions
- Actively listening and accepting feedback to improve performance and understanding of audit practices

What You Must Have

- Currently pursuing or have completed a Bachelor's degree in one of the following fields of study: Accounting, Management Information Systems, Business Analytics, Computer and Information Science, Information Technology
- At least a 3.0 overall GPA
- Before starting full-time at PwC, meet the educational requirements to be eligible to sit for the CPA exam in your intended state of employment or the educational requirements for licensure as a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)
- Client service intern positions are considered entry-level roles. Candidates are typically in their third year of a four-year degree program or fourth year of a five-year program at the time of application

The salary range for this position is: $29.25 - $48.00. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws.
