As a member of the nursing team with Corewell Health, providing top-notch patient care is paramount. About Greenville Hospital
Corewell Health Greenville Hospital is a community hospital in Greenville, Michigan, with 49 acute-care beds and 39 long-term-care beds. We give patients access to physician specialists and sub-specialists, clinical quality, state-of-the-art facilities, and advanced medical and information technology. Greenville Hospital is also a member of Partner in Children’s Health through Corewell Health Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital.
Essential Functions
Provides direct patient care under the direction of the Unit Manager or Licensed Nurse, consistent with policies and procedures of the unit.
Responsible for direct day-to-day care of assigned residents/patients including dressing, bathing, transporting and feeding.
Documents care provided as directed in a manner consistent with guidelines.
Maintains patients’ environment/work area/equipment, and communicates any equipment malfunctions to the appropriate department/unit personnel.
Complete and maintain required number of CNA educational hours.
Participation in select unit quality monitoring activities under the direction of the Unit Manager or Nurse Leader.
Qualifications
Required
High School Diploma or equivalent
Completion of State of Michigan approved CNA Training Course
Nursing Assistant - Michigan Department of Licensing & Regulatory Affairs, Bureau of Community and Health Systems within 90 days
Basic Life Support (BLS) - American Heart Association 90 Days or
Basic Life Support (BLS) - American Red Cross 90 Days
