Summary of the Role

The Terumo Interventional Systems (TIS) Division develops, manufacture, and distribute medical devices for Cardiovascular.

The Cluster Marketing Manager is responsible for leading, developing and implementation of marketing strategies and programs and providing marketing leadership for the Terumo Interventional Systems Company with a focus on Cardiology. This role will support both the Singapore and Malaysia market.

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic Marketing (Upstream)

• Develop marketing strategies for Terumo Intervention Systems in alignment with APAC and Corporate TIS objectives

• Develop growth initiatives to drive both organic and inorganic revenue aspirations with a strong basis of market sizing, segmentation, targeting and position

• Ensure that every commercial plan has an integrated marketing plan alongside a sales and clinical plan.

• Conducting market research to identify customer trends, competitor offerings and competitive landscaping

• Gathering market insights through voice of customers on product and market trend

• Track and communicate the performance of marketing campaigns and strategies through evaluating key performance metrics such as market share.

2. Product Management (Downstream)

• Facilitate and coordinate downstream marketing activities across the cluster.

• Deliver strong project management for TIS related marketing events, website development, and campaigns, in collaboration with country sales and regional marketing teams

• Coordinate regular product allocation and demand planning reviews.

• Collaborate with finance and commercial director on pricing governance and approvals

3. Customers Engagement

• Lead and execute on cluster key opinion leader engagement plan (Product In-Service, workshop or conference)

• Building and managing relationships with new and existing clients through networking and prospecting to enhance brand trust ,loyalty and customer experience.

• Design and implement customer engagement plan that align with business growth

4. Cross functional collaboration

• Collaborate with commercial team and regional marketing to develop strategic marketing plan

• Collaborate with regulatory affairs to ensure device compliance prior to launch

• Collaborate with clinical/medical affair team to support evidence base content to the market

5. Budget and Strategic Planning Management

• Drive the annual strategic planning and budgeting process

• Track cluster level marketing budget and ensure budget is resourcefully deployed

• Develop metric to track ROIs

• Self-starter with strong results orientation and success in moving business toward long-term goals

• Ability to influence without authority, in a sub-regional role

• Entrepreneurial and collaborative mindset

• Clear communication with the ability to clearly articulate marketing strategies to various stakeholders

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field; medical, pharmaceutical or clinical background preferred (MBA is plus)

• 7 to 10 years of medical device industry experience, marketing and cardiovascular preferred
