Job Description
Job Summary
The Clinical Specialist will provide expert clinical support and education to healthcare professionals on specimen management products Becton Dickinson (BD), ensuring safe and effective utilization to improve patient outcomes.
Job Responsibilities
- Conduct product demonstrations, and in-service training for healthcare professionals at customer sites.
- Provide ongoing clinical support and troubleshooting for BD products, addressing technical and clinical queries.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to identify clinical needs and develop appropriate solutions.
- Educate healthcare professionals on best practices and clinical guidelines related to BD products and relevant areas.
- Participate in product evaluations and provide feedback for product improvements.
- Develop and deliver educational materials, presentations, and workshops for internal and external stakeholders.
- Stay updated on industry trends, clinical advancements, and competitor products.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, training sessions, and product feedback.
- Maintain a strong working partnership with external product advocators, key opinion leaders and collaboration partners to drive continuous clinical development and better patient outcomes
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies.
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Medical Technology, Life Science or a related healthcare field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of clinical experience in a hospital or healthcare setting.
- Previous experience with life science or medical devices, particularly in the areas of diagnostics is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of clinical & laboratory workflows and patient care processes.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to effectively educate and influence healthcare professionals.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to travel frequently within Malaysia.
- Valid driver's license.
