As a Clinical Programmer II, you will design and deliver data solutions that drive our clinical studies forward. You will focus on programming, dashboard development, and validation for ongoing trials of medium to high complexity—helping study teams see what matters sooner, act faster, and uphold the highest standards of data integrity. 

Your work underpins the quality of our evidence and the reliability of our conclusions. You will join a collaborative, cross-functional environment where science and technology meets. Partnering with clinical, data management, biometrics and operations, you will translate real user needs into robust tools and visualizations. Guided by experienced programmers, you’ll own well-defined scope, build within proven frameworks, and contribute to a roadmap that advances how we run trials across critical disease areas. 

Accountabilities: 

·   Clinical Data Programming: Design, develop, implement and validate programs in SAS, Python, R, and SQL to process, analyze and report clinical trial data, ensuring timely, high-quality outputs for clinical study teams. 

·   Dashboard Development: Build, validate and maintain Power BI, Spotfire, and MicroStrategy dashboards, from requirements gathering and data provisioning to design, testing, training, and performance support for internal and external users. 

·   Automation and Data Quality: Create and maintain a catalog of reports to aid data cleaning; automate manual checks; program reconciliation and edit checks for TPV data; build tools and repositories to reduce data errors at source, including lab reference ranges. 

·   Operational Reporting: Program operational reports such as missing pages, open/closed queries, PI signatures, and audit trail outputs; detect subject-level errors and deliver metrics that track data cleaning status and study readiness. 

·   Discrepancy Detection and Visualization: Develop visualizations and dashboards that highlight discrepancies between EDC and TPV data, enabling proactive issue resolution by study teams. 

·   Frameworks, Quality, and Documentation: Work within established frameworks and SOPs; embed quality in all deliverables; complete documentation including peer reviews and report specifications; maintain and update assets as requirements evolve. 

·   Independent Delivery and Progress Updates: Complete tasks independently within a well-defined scope; communicate progress and risks to lead programmers; ensure availability and performance of reports and dashboards. 

·   Roadmap Contributions and Collaboration: Contribute to medium to high complexity initiatives on the clinical programming roadmap; collaborate with data management, development operations, clinical, biometrics and other teams to deliver on end-user reporting needs and cross-functional projects. 

Essential Skills/Experience:

·   Bachelor’s/Master’s degree or equivalent in computer science, life science or statistics

·   Good programming skills and Prior experience in SAS/Python/R/SQL/Power BI/ SpotFire and other dashboard technologies

·   Basic knowledge of clinical development process

·   Good Dashboard development skill in PowerBI / Spotfire

·   Basic Knowledge on data capture, data models, data mining.

·   Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

·   Ability to work in a distributed team environment.

·   Good analytical skills and high attention to detail

Desirable Skills/Experience:

·   Knowledge of industry standards

·   Basic knowledge of FDA regulations and GCP/ICH guidelines as related to clinical programming processes

·   Prior Experience and understanding of EDC systems like Medidata Rave / Inform / Veeva/ Saama/ Entimice, SAS LSAF etc

·   Knowledge on MicroStrategy
