Job Description

Old Mutual Investment Group is seeking to recruit a customer-focused, proactive, and service-oriented Client Support Officer to deliver exceptional client service and support the achievement of business objectives through effective customer engagement and relationship management.

Reporting to the Head of Operations, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing timely and professional assistance to walk in clients, resolving queries and complaints, facilitating policy and service administration, and ensuring a seamless customer experience across all client touchpoints.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Serving as the first point of contact for clients, visitors, and external stakeholders, ensuring a professional, efficient, and client-focused experience.
• Providing support and guidance to clients on Private Wealth, Money Market, Unit Trust Funds, and other investment products and services.
• Responding to client enquiries, process service requests, and facilitate the resolution of client issues in a timely and effective manner.  
• Monitoring and following up on outstanding client requests to ensure adherence to agreed service standards and turnaround times.
• Assisting in preparing client reports, presentations, meeting packs, and other business communications.
• Managing front office and reception functions, including visitor management, telephone enquiries, and correspondence.
• Coordinating travel and accommodation arrangements for OMIG staff and supporting logistical requirements for meetings, events, and business activities.
• Providing administrative support to the Managing Director including diary management, meeting coordination, and follow-up on action items.
• Performing any other duties as may be assigned by management from time to time.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, Customer Service Management or any related field.
• Minimum of 2-3 years' experience in customer service, client support, relationship management or a similar client-facing role.
• Experience in handling customer enquiries, complaints, and service requests within agreed service standards.
• Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.
