What You'll Do

• Serve as the primary point of contact and strategic business partner for a portfolio of high-value and strategic client accounts, managing relationships through individual and shared mailbox management.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with C-level executives and key decision-makers, conduct regular business reviews and strategic planning sessions, and identify client needs, pain points, and opportunities for service expansion and upselling.
• Own P&L responsibility for assigned accounts, monitor financial performance against targets, analyze account profitability, develop pricing strategies, and negotiate contracts to balance client value with profit protection.
• Track and report on KPIs and SLAs, develop account strategies to maximize client retention and revenue growth, and proactively identify and mitigate client risks and operational challenges.
• Collaborate across operations, finance, technology, and service delivery teams to ensure seamless service delivery, lead business negotiations on rebids and contract renewals, and drive process improvements and best practices across the team.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree with 10+ years of professional work experience in client management, account management, or business development, and 7+ years of experience in a Travel Management Company (TMC) or travel-focused organization.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage at executive level, excellent organizational and time management abilities, and proven ability to manage multiple priorities and accounts simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong business acumen with demonstrated P&L ownership experience, proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Power BI, and Tableau), and experience with travel management platforms, OBT systems, CRM systems, and project management tools.
• Problem-solving mindset with a client-centric approach, demonstrated ability to manage and execute change effectively, and proven ability to meet internal and external deadlines consistently.
• Knowledge of business intelligence and data analysis, demonstrated strong knowledge of internal tools and products, and adherence to Amex GBT core behaviors including compliance, integrity, and effective collaboration.
