Client Onboarding Manager (VP)

Role Location: Malta
Department: Onboarding

Employment Type: Permanent

We are currently looking for a Client Onboarding Manager in the European Client Onboarding Team. The role in this dynamic team will span all products offered by the Apex Group and will have global touch points both with clients and the Apex sales team.

Job Specification:

• Responsible for the onboarding and integration of new clients in Malta and other jurisdictions;

• acting as the key client contact throughout the onboarding process to ensure seamless transition to BAU;

• coordinating client adoptions, account openings, review of fund offering documentation and legal agreements, internal system set ups, and project planning;

• project management and coordination of internal functions to onboard new clients (launches and conversions) including Service Delivery, Sales, Legal, Compliance, and Technology teams;

• participating in regional new business meetings and provision of updates to senior management and client services teams;

• maintenance of Salesforce and production of the new business, management, and KPI reports;

• assisting with ad hoc projects as required.

• Training and mentoring of staff.

Skills Required:

• Bachelor / master's degree in accounting, finance, economics or any other related field;

• at least 3 years of relevant professional experience, preferably gained in Malta within the investment fund industry;

• knowledge on Client KYC requirements is an advantage including experience with Trust and nominee investors;

• client facing experience;

• good sense of teamwork as well as ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced work environment;

• excellent organisational, communication and interpersonal skills and a truly client servicing mindset;

• committed to self-improvement;

• professional level of English (spoken and written)

• knowledge of Paxus, eFront or other fund accounting systems is of advantage.
