Role overview

The Client Service Associate is primarily responsible for supporting EMEA institutional clients invested across Nuveen's private and public market platform through the full client lifecycle. The role handles day-to-day client communication, investor onboarding, and reporting, and works closely with investment teams, distribution, and other internal stakeholders to deliver an exceptional client experience..

Key responsibilities

• Serve as dedicated point of contact for day-to-day client queries, responding promptly and escalating concerns as needed
• Proactively support clients and build knowledge of relevant investment strategies and products
• Oversee the onboarding of new investors whilst ensuring AML/KYC and compliance obligations are met
• Coordinate and attend client events, including Investor Days, Investor Committee meetings, webinars, and site visits
• Review and distribute investment and customised investor reports, ensuring accuracy and meeting deadlines
• Liaise with Finance, Legal, Distribution, Compliance, and third-party custodians and administrators
• Prepare supporting materials for client meetings and maintain CRM data
• Support projects that reduce risk, improve efficiency, or enhance client service
• Monitor regulatory changes relevant to the role

Role Requirements

• Degree-educated
• 1–3 years' experience in financial services, including a client-facing role
• Experience and knowledge of private and public market asset classes (real estate, real assets, fixed income, equities)
• Proven experience managing client relationships
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and prioritization
• Able to work independently and as part of a team to meet goals
• Fluent English; German is desirable but not required
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Experience using AI tools and automation to streamline processes and improve efficiency (desirable)
