ABOUT YOU
We’re seeking a Casual Sales Assistant to support the day-to-day operations and help create an inspiring in-store experience for our team, customers, and community.
Reporting to the Store Manager, we are seeking Seasonal Casual Team Members to support our Salvos Stores across Nowra, Unanderra, Warilla, Wollongong and Woonona.
These roles are available for the seasonal period from the start of October 2026 to end February 2027 and are designed to support increased trading demands during our busy holiday season. Successful applicants must be available to work throughout this period, including peak holiday trading times, and may be required to work across any of the listed store locations as needed.
Please note that these are casual seasonal roles only, offered to support short-term operational needs during this period. There is no guarantee of ongoing employment or extension beyond February 2027.
Key Responsibilities:
Retail sales and operation of Point of Sale devices;
Sort, price and prepare donations for sale.
Assist in the development and coordination visual merchandising and store presentation
Provide exceptional Customer Service
Display stock in correct departments, following policy and procedure.
Follow Occupational Health and Safety policy and procedures
Demonstrate TSA core values in all work related activities.
About You:
Retail sales experience - highly regarded but not essential.
Strong customer service skills.
Genuine passion and ability to deliver outstanding results.
Alignment with our values of integrity, respect, compassion, collaboration, and diversity.
High energy, hand-on individual with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Flexibly to work a rolling roster including weekends and preparedness to work across various locations in the retail area.
