At Grand Hotel Timeo, a Belmond Hotel, we are looking for a passionate and highly skilled Chef de Partie to join the team at our fine-dining and Michelen starred restaurant, Otto Geleng. In this role, you will contribute to creating fresh, seasonal, high-quality, and tailored dishes for each guest, elevating the culinary standards of our Michelin-starred kitchen.

Primary Responsibilities Include

• Manage a specific kitchen section autonomously (e.g., starters, first courses, main courses, side dishes, or pastry), ensuring high-quality standards in accordance with the Food & Beverage Manifesto of Belmond.
• Prepare and present dishes according to the Executive Chef's recipes and guidelines, with an absolute focus on aesthetics, detail, and taste.
• Collaborate closely with the rest of the brigade to ensure an efficient, smooth, and timely service, respecting ticket times.
• Ensure compliance with sustainability standards by promoting responsible kitchen practices—such as minimizing food waste—in alignment with the group's environmental policies.
• Keep the workstation clean and organized, complying fully with hygiene, sanitary, and food safety regulations (HACCP).
• Support the training and onboarding of Commis de Cuisine, fostering a collaborative kitchen environment and encouraging professional growth.

Requirements

What You Bring 

• Previous experience of at least 2 years in a similar position within luxury hotels or fine-dining restaurants. 

• Excellent knowledge of culinary techniques and raw materials, with a strong focus on seasonality and quality. 

• Ability to work in a team, flexibility, and a problem-solving orientation. 

• Strong adherence to procedures and meticulous attention to detail.
