Your mission
Maximize the effectiveness of retail activation strategies across channels (pharmacy, parapharmacy, e-retail where applicable) by defining activation plans, executing in-store excellence programs (Perfect Store/RISE), managing POSM and visibility, measuring ROI, and ensuring continuous improvement - acting as a bridge between Marketing strategy and Sales execution.
1) Activation Strategy & Planning
- Build channel activation strategy and annual activation calendar aligned with commercial objectives.
- Translate brand plans into retail-relevant programs: visibility, launches, seasonal pushes, and in-store storytelling.
2) In-store Excellence / Perfect Store / RISE
- Own Perfect Store/RISE standards, rollout, and tracking; define execution priorities and compliance measures.
- Partner with Sales to ensure field deployment, coaching, and execution routines.
3) POSM & Visibility Program Management
- Define POSM strategy, briefs, and production; manage suppliers and quality/lead times.
- Ensure coherent KV/claims execution in-store, consistent with brand strategy and compliance needs.
- Optimize visibility investment based on impact and feasibility.
4) ROI & Performance Measurement
- Define activation KPIs (distribution, visibility, promo quality, uplift indicators).
- Measure activation ROI with BI/NRM and recommend continuous improvement.
5) Cross-Functional Coordination
- Coordinate with Marketing on messages/content and with Sales on field execution and customer constraints.
- For e-retail activation: align with eKAM/eRetail where applicable on digital shelf and retail media inputs (if in scope locally).
Who you are ?
To be successful in this role, you bring a strong execution discipline and the ability to drive projects forward. You do not rely on formal authority to get things done; your ability to lead through influence and manage cross-functional stakeholders is excellent.
Experience: 3 to 5+ years of relevant experience in Marketing, Trade Marketing, Shopper Marketing, or Retail Activation.
Core Skills: Strong project management capabilities, excellent stakeholder and supplier management, and a firm ROI mindset (focusing on measurable business impact, not just “visibility”).
Languages: Fluent in Dutch, French & English .
Computer Skills: Advanced proficiency in the MS Office suite, coupled with basic analytics and BI (Business Intelligence) literacy.
