What You'll Do
- Provide occupational therapy treatments under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist.
- Help residents improve independence with activities of daily living and functional skills.
- Educate residents and families on therapy programs, safety techniques, and home programs.
- Monitor resident progress and communicate with the supervising Occupational Therapist.
- Collaborate with therapists, nursing staff, and the interdisciplinary care team.
- Provide compassionate, resident-centered care.
Qualifications
- Current California Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license in good standing.
- Passion for resident care and geriatric rehabilitation.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary team.
