More specifically, it is the first European cultivated breast milk company aiming to produce human milk constituents to better match the ideal nutrition for babies! What We Are Looking For

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Cell Biologist Intern to join our team. This intern will play a vital role in identifying the best conditions to make our cells lactate in vitro. You will gain hands-on experience in a cutting-edge start-up lab environment while contributing to our mission to improve infant and specialised nutrition.

Key Responsibilities

🧪Conducting Cell Culture Experiments: You will conduct various cell culture experiments to optimize the lactation of our cells in vitro.

🔬Using Molecular Biology Techniques: You will apply a range of molecular biology techniques to analyse our cell phenotypes (RT-qPCR, Flow Cytometry, …) and to detect the secreted milk proteins (ELISA, Western-Blot, …)

👩🏻‍💻Documentation and Reporting: You will document experimental procedures, observations to ensure data integrity and traceability and prepare comprehensive reports that convey experimental findings, progress, and potential areas for improvement.

📋 Support in laboratory and operational tasks

As a junior member in a small startup your responsibilities will also span lab management, lab duties and helping other team members and more specifically our lab manager Julie in day to day operations!

Requirements

• Pursuing a Master or an Engineering Degree in life sciences, biology, bioprocessing, chemical engineering, or a related field. 
• Currently enrolled in a School/University in which the internship is part of the curriculum (has access to "Convention de Stage")
• Prior experience in cell culture requiered. 
• Hands-on experience with classic molecular biology techniques such as ELISA, RT-qPCR, Western-Blot is plus.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret experimental data effectively.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while being proactive and self-motivated.

• Second technical case discussion with the Media Development department 
• Last fit interview with our CTO Eugénie or CEO Eden (on-site if possible), and meet part of the team, visit the labs & office
